Nick Lashley (born in 1964) is a British producer, songwriter, and musician. He is best known for his work with Alanis Morissette and John Carney's film Begin Again for which the song he co-wrote "[Lost Stars]" was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Song. He also played the iconic guitar riff on Natasha Bedingfield's worldwide hit "[unwritten]"

He has more recently composed trailers for Spider-Man and Johnny English Strikes Again

He has also scored and written songs for the upcoming feature Spare Room with performances by Billy Bob Thornton the boxmasters natasha bedingfield Stephanie scott

Nick has also toured with and played guitar for mick jagger Carly Simon Robbie Robertson Lisa Marie Presley
