Ogre is a 1986 computer game based on the Ogre miniatures wargame.

Release

A computer adaptation of Ogre was the 1986 release by Origin Systems, Inc. for Apple II, Amiga, Atari 8-bit, Atari ST, Commodore 64, DOS, and Macintosh.Cite error: The <ref> tag has too many names (see the help page).[1]

Gameplay

The video game is based on the miniatures wargame rules.

Reception

inCider in 1986 rated the game with three stars out of four.[2] Computer Gaming World rated it three stars out of five in a 1992 survey of science fiction games,[3] and ranked it #130 in the magazine's 1996 list of 150 Best Games of All Time.[4]
