Okura is a suburb of Auckland, New Zealand. It is under the local governance of the Auckland Council.

Okura is a small village on the south shore of the Okura River. It is the only location that provides access to the Okura River in the form of basic launching facilities for small craft.

The New Zealand Ministry for Culture and Heritage gives a translation of "place of red (clay)" for Ōkura.[1]
