Ontario Seniors' Secretariat is responsible for senior citizens issues in the Canadian province of Ontario .
Initially established in 1982, the Ontario Seniors’ Secretariat (OSS) advocates for, undertakes and supports policy and program initiatives that help improve the quality of life of seniors, and undertakes public education efforts for and about seniors.
The current Minister Responsible for Seniors Affairs is the Honourable Mario Sergio who was appointed in 2013 as a Minister without portfolio .
