Paloma Baeza (born 1 May 1975) is a British actress and director of English and Mexican descent.
Biography
Baeza lived in Mexico during her childhood. Her Mexican father and her English mother were hippie musicians. In 1975, when Baeza was 5 months old, her parents married in London and they went to Mexico City. They divorced nine years afterwards. [citation needed]
She returned to the UK with her mother in 1985. She started acting classes and appeared very early in the London theatres and British televised productions. She studied English and performing arts at Bristol University. Baeza has to date directed two films: The Window (2006 TV film), and Watchmen (2001 short feature film). She co-wrote the latter with actor Cillian Murphy, who also starred.[2]
Personal life
Her spouse is screenwriter, novelist, and film director Alex Garland; they have two children.
