"Poison Heart" is a song by the punk rock band the Ramones written by ex-bassist Dee Dee Ramone. The song was released in 1992 on the album Mondo Bizarro and also as a single. It has a different pace to normal Ramones songs. The song was given to the band in exchange for bailing Dee Dee out of jail.

Covers

The song was also included in the film Pet Sematary Two (1992). The song's video was directed by Samuel Bayer.

The song was also covered by Dee Dee Ramone's friend and former The Dead Boys vocalist Stiv Bators and was released posthumously on the 1996 Last Race album.

Finnish rock band HIM recorded and released a cover of the song as a b-side to their hit single "Wings of a Butterfly", in 2005.

A music video was produced and later released in their compilation boxed-set Weird Tales of the Ramones (2005) as a bonus content from their documentary Lifestyles of the Ramones.
