Prasuti is a Hindu goddess, who is the daughter of Svayambhuva Manu and Shatarupa, wife of Daksha and mother of many daughters by him.

Marriage and children

Marriage of Daksh & Prasuti was the first marriage in Hinduism. Both gave birth to "60 Daughters". Out of them 13 daughters were married to Dharma, Svaha to Agni, Swadha to Pitras, Diti and Aditi to Kashyapa. Rohini & Revati to Chandra & Khyati to Rishi Bhrigu.
