Founded in 2000, and headquartered in London[1] Proximity worldwide has over 2,200 employees in 67 offices around the globe.

Proximity Worldwide is a member of the Omnicom group of companies and is aligned with BBDO Worldwide.[1][5]

Chris Thomas, CEO of BBDO Americas, was recently[when?] named to the additional role of chairman of Proximity Worldwide.[6] Thomas took over from Andrew Robertson, President and CEO of BBDO Worldwide, who had been filling this position.[7]

Proximity Worldwide counts brands like HP, Johnson & Johnson,[1] Kraft, Mars, Mercedes, Bayer, Pepsi, P&G, and Visa Inc. as clients.[5]

Awards

Proximity Worldwide has been consistently recognized as the Most Awarded Agency Network from 2006-2010 at the John Caples Awards.[8] They were deemed Most Awarded Agency Network at DMA Echo Awards in 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2010[9] and from 2007–2009, they also were crowned winners of The Big Won.[10]
