Richard Daniel Roman (born 16 March 1965, Kings Cross, London) is a British songwriter and record producer best known for his work with pop musicians.

Biography

Roman was born in 1965 to Spanish parents. In 1992 he moved to Spain where he established himself as a major Latin pop songwriter and producer, working with some of the biggest names in entertainment.

Roman worked with Adele ("Rolling In The Deep", "Don't You Remember", "Someone Like You", "Set Fire To The Rain", "Skyfall", "Hello", "Million Years Ago" and "Water Under The Bridge"), David Bowie ("Where Are We Now?"), Lady Gaga ("Just Dance", "Poker Face", "Paparazzi", "Bad Romance", "Alejandro" and "Monster"), Lorde ("Royals"), Miley Cyrus ("Wrecking Ball"), Taylor Swift ("White Horse", "Red" and "State of Grace"), Ellie Goulding ("Burn"), Katy Perry, Juicy J ("Dark Horse"), Lana Del Rey ("Summertime Sadness" and "Blue Jeans"), Beyoncé ("Halo"), Shakira ("Dare (La La La)"), John Legend ("All Of Me"), Pitbull, Jennifer Lopez, Claudia Leitte ("We Are One (Ole Ola)"), will.i.am ("This Is Love"), Xuxa, Rebeca, Lorena Rojas,[1] Shaila Durcal,[2] Cristian Castro,[3] Jerry Rivera and others.
