Rudolf the Black Cat (Japanese: ルドルフとイッパイアッテナ, Hepburn: Rudorufu to Ippaiattena) is a 2016 Japanese computer-animated family adventure drama film directed by Kunihiko Yuyama and Motonori Sakakibara.[1] It was released in Japan by Toho on August 6, 2016.[3]

Reception

The film was 5th placed at the box office on its opening weekend in Japan, with 147,179 admissions and a gross of ¥187.3 million.[4][5] By its second weekend it had grossed US$6.6 million[6] and by its third weekend, US$10.2 million.[7]
