Rumana Islam Kanak Chapa (Bengali: রুমানা ইসলাম কনক চাপা) is a female Bangladeshi singer.[5][6][7][8][9] She got the Bangladesh National Film Award for Best Female Playback Singer for the 3rd time in a row.[10][11]

Early life and background

Kanak Chapa was born on 11 September 1969 in Dhaka, Bangladesh. She is the third among the 5 children.

During her career she sang almost 30 thousand song and also released over 30th solo albums.
