SM City Consolacion

SM City Consolacion, also locally known as SM Lacion, is a shopping mall owned and operated by SM Prime Holdings, the largest mall operator in the Philippines. It is the second SM Supermall in the province of Cebu and fourth SM Supermall in the Visayas Region after SM City Cebu, SM City Iloilo and SM City Bacolod. The mall opened on 1 June 2012.

Location and mall features

Constructed on a four-hectare leased prime property that was formerly where ProFoods Factory once stood along Rizal Avenue, also known as Cebu North Road in Barangay Lamac, Consolacion, Cebu, SM Prime Holdings envisions the mall to become a premier destination in the northern Cebu island.[2] The mall, consists of an "L"-shaped building when facing south, has 3-levels of shopping, dining and entertainment options. A carpark building was constructed at the back of the mall. The main façade of the mall consists of a glass wide exterior wall finishings; a unique style concept that was made possible by advanced architecture studies and materials.[citation needed]
