  • curprev 12:1212:12, 28 February 2021 Yngvadottir talk contribs 20,775 bytes +405 Fixed inevitable error, sp in Reeves title, used Reeves to ref Árni Magnússon giving it the alt title (with the strange ref to Snorri as Thorbrand's son, so I removed the "sic"). This edit is not an endorsement of the WMF. undo
  • curprev 11:3311:33, 28 February 2021 Yngvadottir talk contribs 20,370 bytes +6,721 Removed "more footnotes", not main prob. Removed Norw. names, all but one SNL ref, low-quality refs & those on topics w/ own articles. Rewrote, complete plot summary w/ links (from Penguin ed., no ftnotes), differentiation from Grœnlendinga saga into Analysis sec. w/ accepted theory, large magical & heathen content & widely noted bias. Added new refs, de-templated to allow fully citing books. This edit intended to improve the encyclopedia is not an endorsement of the WMF. undo

  • curprev 11:3811:38, 27 February 2021 Yngvadottir talk contribs 13,649 bytes +64 Was going to change "werid" to "weird" but what the hey, varðlokkur; we explain the term at Þorbjörg Lítilvölva. Added its once common alternative title, Þorfinns saga karlsefnis, which I'll redirect here, tweaking intro to fit it in. Why are we citing a French edition and some website on Yule, what happened to the other 7 chaps, & where's analysis, esp. the point that it goes out of its way to ridicule Greenland heathens? Needs work badly. This edit is not an endorsement of the WMF. undo
