Sedegliano (Friulian Sedean) is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Udine in the Italian region Friuli-Venezia Giulia, located about 80 kilometres (50 mi) northwest of Trieste and about 20 kilometres (12 mi) southwest of Udine. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 3,796 and an area of 50.4 square kilometres (19.5 sq mi).[3]

The municipality of Sedegliano contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Coderno, Gradisca, Grions, Rivis, San Lorenzo, and Turrida.

Sedegliano borders the following municipalities: Codroipo, Coseano, Flaibano, Mereto di Tomba, San Giorgio della Richinvelda, San Martino al Tagliamento, Valvasone. It is known for nurturing the talent of Massimo Donati who plays for Celtic F.C. in Scotland. Another talent now living in one of Sedegliano's fractions is the soprano Paola Lazzarini
