The similarities are there possibly, but they possibly inhabited different niches. Shringasaurus’s sprawling posture made it likely to not be able to rear up to reach leaves like sauropods. The teach are simialr, but they could have been more likely used to bite down on ferns and lower vegetation. This is supported by the fact that giraffes today, despite having long necks, very commonly eat grass low. undo Tags: Reverted Visual edit Mobile edit Mobile web edit

Nonetheless, I have rewritten parts of the text for clarity and provided citations for the lead. undo

As well, having such a long neck would not make them unablebe to headbutt. Girraffes, who also have a long neck, commonly eat grass and low lying vegetation. These are also unsourced and haven’t been proven other than appearance. undo Tags: Visual edit Mobile edit Mobile web edit
