Shubha is an Indian film actress who acted prominently in Malayalam films.[1] She was a lead actress during the late 1970s and early 1980s.[2][3] She acted in Malayalam, Tamil, Kannada, Telugu, and Hindi films.[4][5]

Personal life

She was born to Telugu film actor and director Vedantam Raghavaiah and Suryaprabha, who was also an actress, in Krishna District, Andhra Pradesh, India. She has five sisters and a brother. Her aunt Pushpavalli was also a Telugu actress and was married to Gemini Ganeshan.[6] Shubha's cousin Rekha is an actress in Hindi movies.[7]
