Adams, 1865[1]

Sitala is a genus of air-breathing land snails, terrestrial pulmonate gastropod mollusks in the family Ariophantidae. Sitala is the type genus of the subfamily Sitalinae (which is a synonym of Durgellini.)[2] [3]
