Snapz Pro X is a utility program for macOS developed by Ambrosia Software. It is designed to record movie-like screenshots of a computer monitor doing various actions, such as a user moving their mouse across the screen, clicking on desktop icons, typing text, et cetera. It has been used commercially in the production of books, such as O'Reilly Media's series, The Missing Manual, and others. The program was also used by South Park to create the Make Love, Not Warcraft episode.[3]
Snapz Pro was last updated in 2016, making it compatible with MacOS Sierra. Its movie capture functionality stopped working with MacOS High Sierra 10.13.[4]
