Southport Airport (IATA: SHQ, ICAO: YSPT) is an airport located 3.5 nautical miles (6.5 km; 4.0 mi) northwest[1] of Southport, in Coombahah, Queensland, Australia. It is operated by the Southport Flying Club.[1]
Facilities
The airport is a private airport and permission is required to land.
The airport resides at an elevation of 5 ft (2 m) above sea level. It has one runway designated 01/19, both of which have a displaced threshold due to trees at each end of the runway.
The displaced threshold lengths are: RWY 01 is655 m (2,149 ft) in length.[1] RWY 19 is 633 m (2,077 ft) in length.[1]
