Stjør- and Verdal District Court (Norwegian: Stjør- og Verdal tingrett) was a district court located in Levanger, Norway. It covers the municipalities of Levanger, Stjørdal, Verdal, Frosta, Leksvik and Meråker. It is subordinate Frostating Court of Appeal. In the district court, there work three professional judges, two deputy judges and seven clerks. In 2006, the court dealt with 158 criminal cases, 381 summary procedures and 104 civil cases.[1] It was succeeded by Inntrøndelag District Court from 1 January 2011.[2]
