37°35′40″N 122°08′49″W / 37.5944°N 122.1469°W / 37.5944; -122.1469 Stokes Landing is a ghost town in Alameda County, California, United States. Stokes Landing was located along Alameda Creek east of Eden Landing.[1] The name is in honor of James Johnstone Stokes, who founded the place in 1858.[1] Today the area lies within the city of Hayward, California.
