Needs citations
[edit]This article needs in line citations to meet B class criteria. Can anyone help with this? Other than that I think it is not a bad article that provides a good summary of the topic. One suggestion, though, could a list of Commanding Officers be added? Also, if a Unit Colour Patch could be found and added, that would bring it in line with other Australian battalion articles. For example, see 14th Battalion (Australia). Cheers. AustralianRupert (talk) 00:56, 26 March 2009 (UTC)
- Okay, looks like the citations are nearly done. I think that only a couple more are required. I have added the citation needed tags where I feel they are needed. If anyone can help add these, that would be great. After that I think it would probably be a B class article. Thanks for all the help so far. — AustralianRupert (talk) 00:33, 1 September 2009 (UTC)
- I'm pretty sure that I sourced that material from the book 'Eagles alighting'. Unfortunately, this was added way back in February 2006, which was before inline citations were standard and I don't have a copy of the book. Nick-D (talk) 00:50, 1 September 2009 (UTC)
- Quick response. Cheers, Nick. I might see if I can try to pick the book up somewhere. There's a goldmine antique/military bookstore near where I live, so I will have a look there. It frequently has the battalion histories. — AustralianRupert (talk) 01:04, 1 September 2009 (UTC)
- I've just added those references, and think that the article is now ready for a B class assessment Nick-D (talk) 01:55, 5 September 2009 (UTC)

That's great, Nick. Thanks for that. I was trying to hunt down the Eagles Alighting book and couldn't find it anywhere. — AustralianRupert (talk) 05:07, 6 September 2009 (UTC)
