Here is the section moved from the main page. I see your point in making this section from next years' edits. I wish I could get in contact with you, but you are on IP, so I don't know how apart from posting here. I would appreciate, when you read this to let me know your intentions, so I can align my work with yours better. Please, permit the "Films released in 2000" to be directly after "Awards", staying consistent with all former years. Members in various lists need such a table-free, comprehensive list to be able to work comfortably. Please let all other listings separate, so we cam easily cross information between lists. Thank you. Hoverfish 07:46, 17 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Drowning Mona DVD.jpg

[edit]

Image:Drowning Mona DVD.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page. If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 03:38, 3 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

List of films

[edit]

Isn't a list of wide release films the same as films released in 2000. Like all the other articles on years in film. I find it unnecessary to have two different lists. Birdienest81 (talk) 00:20, 7 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Additionally, the "awards" section is confusing as it is listing the results of the 2001 awards ceremonies for films produced in 2000, this should be clearer or simply listed on each films individual page. 77.98.130.24 (talk) 15:47, 17 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Deaths Section

[edit]

The deaths section was all sorts of screwed up, so I decided to remove it. Anyone who can fix it up so that it's actually deaths that occurred in 2000 should do that.149.160.57.235 (talk) 06:05, 23 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Film schedule in 2000 in USA

[edit]

A list shows all films released in 2000, including films that went direct-to-video, or only got an international theatrical release. For each film, we use the first date on which it was made available to the public, which might include international theatrical or domestic video releases that were a few days, or sometimes more, earlier than the domestic (US/Canada) theatrical release. The revenue listed is the worldwide box office combined with the domestic home market revenue to date. 179.215.208.123 (talk) 20:30, 12 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
