Article creation

[edit]

I created this article as I realised that the lower leagues in Northern Ireland really had no information in great detail season by season. This season is just a start, if this article goes OK, and I can find a reliable source, I may create articles for previous seasons also. I haven't really created many wiki articles so any advice would be appreciated. I wasn't sure whether to have two separate articles for championships 1 and 2 or bind them into a single article, I believe a single seems more appropriate. Feel free to advise, or edit the article for any improvements you can think of (results table?). Reddev87 (talk) 10:35, 20 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Looks fine so far. I would also endorse a single Championship article as well, in accordance with other second-level articles as, for example, 2010–11 Liga II. The layout of this article is okay as well; in general, a modeling along the lines of 2011 League of Ireland should do. Regarding the resultsboxes, since the league tables use the fb templates, it would be pretty easy to generate a templated solution for the results tables as well. Take a look at {{Fb r header}} for details. --Soccer-holicI hear voices in my head... 12:00, 20 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

OK, results tables are done, the 2011 League of Ireland article was a good model to go by, thanks. All thats really left to do now (if i can source accurate information) is the table with stadia, capacities, and locations. Not too bad for only my 3rd article (albeit, it is a pretty simple one). I've found a source for last season also, but I am unsure about how reliable it is having never come across the site before - http://www.rsssf.com/tablesn/nil2010.html There seems to be very little content on the Championship online, and last season's final table and results are purged from the official website when the next season starts, so I can't fall back to it.
