I removed the claim that the poor showing of the CDU was due to voter satisfaction with Merkels handling of the Euro crisis. While this was backed up by a Guardian reference, German post-election analysis showed that for 82% of the electorate local (rather than federal) issues where the deciding factor how to vote. This is about as clear as ut gets. I added a reference. I doubt that the Guardian can be used as a reliable source in this, unfortunately British media currently have a tendency to blame just about anything on the Euro, whether it be backed up by fact or not. 86.130.153.156 (talk) 08:49, 4 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
