Here's something for the Trivia section: the Wright Bros. airplane on the logo for the 2011 AT&T US Nationals Figure Skating championships for Greensboro is flying BACKWARDS! The biplane is a pusher, with the propellers in back and with the horizontal elevator in front. They had it flying right for the short animated sequence on the TV, but when you look at the various logos throughout the stadium the airplane is flying backward, about to do an outside loop straight into the ground! 70.130.68.178 (talk) 18:02, 1 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Good catch. The logo is visible here:[1]Baseball Bugs What's up, Doc? carrots02:39, 2 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
On further examination, it doesn't have any propellers, either. No wonder it's headed for a crash landing. ←Baseball Bugs What's up, Doc? carrots02:55, 2 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Alissa Czisny Gets 9's

[edit]

Alissa Czisny got two 9's in her Program Component Score (PCS) from two of the judges. I think this is the first time I know of that anybody got 9's. Anybody know of any other Ladies skater that got 9's? 70.130.68.178 (talk) 18:06, 1 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
