Background
[edit]@JeromeWillettID Hi, apologies for the mention here. May I ask for assistance to fill the background such as rumours of third period, election delay, Jokowi himself denying it later, and cooking oil shortage that happened before?
Since without the decent background, I think it would be hard to nominate this on ITN so it maybe should be the priority for now. Thank you Nyanardsan (talk) 07:57, 11 April 2022 (UTC)
- @Nyanardsan: What the acronym of "ITN" you mentioned there? —Jerome Willett 08:02, 11 April 2022 (UTC)
- In The News which means it will appear in the mainpage, I think WP:Indonesia should not repeat previous mistake of letting Indonesia omnibus law protests not appear on main page, so we should try to put this on the mainpage Nyanardsan (talk) 08:03, 11 April 2022 (UTC)
- @Nyanardsan: Hey, I currently added contents to the Background section, but because it is currently largely contains threats from Helmi Felis and Denny Siregar on Twitter due to the "Jokowi's resign" on the same day where the protests started, please do not add it to ITN until the intended Background section is finished and all agrees it. —Jerome Willett 09:19, 11 April 2022 (UTC)
- I don't see the point of an empty cooking oil subsection. If you're planning to add actual information later, wouldn't that be the more convenient time to title it, for you and the readers? No big deal, though, everyone works differently. InedibleHulk (talk) 10:34, 13 April 2022 (UTC)
