Largest attendance 23,085 .. really??

Description says that AFL finals ticket holders could access the AFLW match. Clearly this is a curtain raiser and should not be counted as the highest attendance of the season. There is daylight between this and the next biggest crowd and it absolutely inflates the average figure. It should be marked as C/R for curtain raiser and removed from the infobox. Rulesfan, it is both – while nobody's denying that the match was refixtured to be a curtain-raiser, the description is sufficient, and we don't need to remove the figure from the infobox. At the end of the day, fans arrived earlier than they otherwise would have to watch the game, so the interest was there; it would be a different story if the AFL just gave the one crowd figure for the two matches, but as it's its own figure and well down from nearly 98,000, it's fine as it is. 4TheWynne (talk • contribs) 09:19, 11 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
