Is there an M. in the house?
[edit]Was Iain Banks at the 'Con? He wasn't mentioned in any of the publicity as being expected to end, and indeed there were signs displayed saying "contrary to media reports, Rowling and Banks not expected to attend" (or words to that effect). Alai 03:21, 11 September 2005 (UTC)
- Iain did attend, but had asked beforehand that we not advertise the fact as he wanted to enjoy the con as much as possible as a regular attendee. In fact on the day he did a couple of things - a signing session and he was persuaded to do a reading in the Young Adult Fun Activities programme. VJDocherty 14:49, 22 January 2006 (UTC)
