Hello fellow Wikipedia editors.

The present link to “modified car” is actually to a page titled “custom car” which is a mainly a USA based form of customising cars for looks or power output.

It is completely irrelevant for adapting vehicles to suit disabilities, which is I believe the purpose of the Adapted Automotive Page.

I propose that a new page be created, appropriate to modifications to assist disabled driver/passengers, the existing link can be renamed to its true intent and remain.

I Don’t know how to create a new sub page, maybe someone could create this please, I will then get started on the info regarding adaptations e.g. Hand controls; alternate foot controls, access adaptations etc.

I have many contacts in the UK adaptation industry due to many years in the motor industry and the past 15 years getting a suitably converted vehicle my disabled son can drive independently.
