References and notes

[edit]

There is a disagreement about the necessity of references and notes. My opinion about the notes is that they are formatted in the exact same way that they are on countless football pages on Wikipedia, and they provide useful information about Adi Nalic's career. Regarding the references, it is not necessary per se to have two references for the stats, but it is generally not a bad idea to provide two sources for a claim so I don't see why we would remove one when it's there anyway. I invite the unregistered user to debate the issue here, preferably without wishing me dead or other unpleasantries, and any deletions without a response here will be reverted. In your request to protect the page you said that the page is a mess because of me?! It exists because of me! There was no information on it whatsoever until I made it all, so shame on you! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 109.175.39.56 (talk) 07:04, 20 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I created the page, you added some content. None of it matters. It's not my page and it's not your page. Do you want to argue any of the issues? Skblole (talk) 02:28, 22 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Goal against Mjällby

[edit]

There is a disagreement about the goal possibly scored by Adi Nalic against Mjällby on 24 July 2021. Some sources say it's an own goal and some have credited it to Adi Nalic. It is my opinion that the organizer of the competition ultimately decides this matter, which is the Swedish Football Federation (SvFF). They have credited the goal to Nalic. If the unregistered user who disagrees with me on this would be willing to discuss this further I invite you to do so here. Skblole (talk) 21:23, 22 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

No need to put all those refs in the article, we accept your source which gives the goal to Adi and won't revert it anymore, just don't overwhelm the article with unnecessary data. Greetings from Bosnia - Unsigned by unknown user
It serves the purpose to prevent future misunderstandings because of the inconsistency from different sources, which you have pointed out. If the note is not there it's likely that someone who is unaware of the issue may update based the page based on Soccerway's stats. It's just a short side note which is separate from the main text, not sure how that could be overwhelming for anyone. Skblole (talk) 21:20, 10 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
The Swedish Football Federation has now changed the goal to an own goal, which ends the issue of conflicting sources. Skblole (talk) 02:40, 27 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
