@AirshipJungleman29, I would like to formally apologize for not talking first before reverting your edits, please see reasons below as per the article page's content as well as in correspondence with relevance;
- WP:DESTUB - " No administrator action or formal permission is needed. " ,"Many articles still marked as stubs have in fact been expanded beyond what is regarded as stub size. If an article is too large to be considered a stub but still needs expansion, the stub template may be removed and appropriate" "Be bold in removing stub tags that are clearly no longer applicable. - Styles of house music#A , please see the layout of at least 80% of these genre pages which includes headings,such as "Characteristics" and "Popularity" as well as exceptionally informative leads and music genre boxes as WP:NOTDICTIONARY.
- Template:Infobox music genre , if the information for certain Template:Infobox music genre#Parameters is stipulated via numerous sources , I am uncertain as into why it would need to be ommitted or seen as irrelevant.
- "3 step" (other names) as per WP:DICTIONARY & sources , "Usage, slang, or idiom guides. Descriptive articles about languages, dialects, or types of slang (such as Klingon language, Cockney, or Leet) are desirable."
- WP:NOTDIRECTORY
WP:NOTCATALOG the layout of the article , should include normal line spacing MOS:Layout , not like a dictionary, making it an eyesore to aesthetically, read.
- Also, please see reliable sources such as https://ra.co/ etc. (events) and search keyword 'Afro Tech/ Afrotech' to see various regional & local scenes ( where the music is released, listened to or where artists are even often booked, you may also find this or additional information in the listed as well as other sources , stipulated by various artists.
Please let me know if there's any specific reverts you object to and why,exactly, thank you. ToosieJoosie (talk) 10:39, 13 November 2023 (UTC)
- ToosieJoosie, please see WP:CITE. If material is challenged, as it has been here, you are expected to provide inline citations, not vaguely handwave at "numerous sources" and WP:SYNTH definitions of "regional and local scenes". ~~ AirshipJungleman29 (talk) 11:10, 13 November 2023 (UTC)

- If you look at the parameters section again for the scenes, you'll see that they are meant to be used for scenes with articles. British rock music, for example. Various lists of where gigs have happened are not acceptable, otherwise the infobox for pop music could be every town on Earth. I have thus removed these parameters from the infobox. ~~ AirshipJungleman29 (talk) 15:34, 17 November 2023 (UTC)
- Hi, thank you for your message and information, it is appreciated;
- Since the genre is currently 'still predominantly indigenous/ localized' and considered as "only now formally being titled and popularized" there are already scenes such as "British Afro Tech" but predominantly being led by Souh African / African artists - still even in certain other/global locations, for example do listed sources suffice for such a case especially if the information of subgenre "slightly or beginning to seed or form" in other locations , do you perhaps think listing those / leaving the locations in the standard music box information - might be seen as information the reader might not be aware of commonly know or relevant content?;
- Examples;
- London - https://mixmag.net/feature/london-afro-house-underground-movement-evolving-south-africa-amapiano-afro-tech-funky-interview ("British Afro Tech/ Afro House scene")----https://djmag.com/features/inside-uk-afro-house-renaissance (please see paragraph ;

But this year we have all sorts to dance to including hard techno, trance, house, disco, and drum and bass. What do you think the next music craze on the island will be? - Africa - https://www.beatportal.com/features/whats-next-for-afro-house/ (please see interview question; "Are you worried the genre will be whitewashed? No, because this music is made first and foremost by African producers for African people. The quality of the productions and the sheer talent coming from South Africa, Angola, Zimbabwe, Mozambique or Kenya is absolutely amazing. Furthermore, there are African labels releasing Afro House or Afro tech. I released a single in January on Celsius Degree from Kenya and they did an amazing job. It’s not like 20 years ago when 99 percent of the labels were based in Europe or in the US and very hard to reach — nowadays it’s much easier for an African artist to release their music. "

- I also see that the Deep House article has listed regional and location scenes , without having articles and not raising this kind of discussion/ dispute. Please clarify or further elaborate otherwise , perhaps may be seen WP:FOLLOWING not for improvement,blanking or disruptive editing? ToosieJoosie (talk) 17:27, 17 November 2023 (UTC)
- You are clearly not reading what you are quoting or what I am saying. Thanks for mentioning Deep House, I have removed the scenes from the infobox. If the "genre is currently still predominantly indigenous/localized", you do not bloat the article to make it seem more important. Instead, you give due weight to the parts that matter. Please also clarify what "perhaps may be seen WP:FOLLOWING not for improvement,blanking or disruptive editing?" means—it does not make sense in English. ~~ AirshipJungleman29 (talk) 22:50, 17 November 2023 (UTC)

Afro Tech → Afro tech – The main reason: MOS:GENRECAPS. I already did one-edit renaming, but the author of the article was against it, which resulted in a long discussion on the topic, the main arguments of which can be read here on similar renaming Talk:Afro house#Afro House speedy deletion, contest & discussion. In short, the number of uses of capitalization of such musical terms in sources according to the wiki guidelines doesn't make a difference, only the proper name or not is important for genre names. In some cases we follow the grammar rules if a word is not translated from original language (applies to genres in German and some local religious traditions), and sometimes also acronyms can be found in the title, which are also capitalized. The other cases are only relevant for determining whether a term is a proper name or not. "tech" is a truncation of techno or a borrowing from "tech house", and therefore on either side cannot be considered a proper name so it should not be capitalized. - Strong support per nom. The only person opposed to this, who never provided a coherent explanation as to why this article's title should be grammatically incorrect, has finally, finally been indefinitely blocked for disruption. City of Silver 04:40, 21 November 2023 (UTC)
