Could the English expression, in response to a yes/no question, "Is it fuck" - to mean "No it's not" (as well as related expressions) - be an analogue of this Finnish phenomenon? Would this example help English-speakers relate?

e.g.

Q: "Do you think the company is fair-minded?" A: "Is it fuck!" — Preceding unsigned comment added by 217.33.169.122 (talkcontribs) 21 December 2016 (UTC)

I have never heard anyone say "is it fuck". Do you mean "the hell it is!"? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2601:8c3:4001:e5d0:44d7:5efe:14a4:27d5 (talkcontribs) 6 May 2017 (UTC)

Spanish[edit]

"¡Un huevo te lo han dicho!" Lit.: a ball(testicle) they told you it. This example implies the speaker strongly thinks the second person was not told about something. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 47.63.100.120 (talk) 20:01, 30 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
