Haunting
[edit]The famine ghost of Agivey Road, it is said that during the famine a tennant family that lived on the banks of the river bann on the Agivey Road, all starved to death as a result of their landlords greed, the old lady was knows as a cailleach (witch in Irish) placed a curse on the area that she would come back to haunt the area every year on during the harvest, the last week of October and make sure the locals could not get a peaceful nights sleep to restore their energy for the impending harvest. It is said that the old landlords family all left the area shortly after as they could not stand the constant torture every year. Alwaysright1sir (talk) 21:33, 27 October 2024 (UTC)
