Michell bearing
[edit]This article claims that Kingsbury invented the Michell bearing before Michell did. However there is no evidence or sourcing to support this. In particular, Kingsbury's patent is for a segmented bearing adjusted by bolts and packing washers behind the segments, a more complex arrangement than Michell's self-adjusting pivots.
