Misleading Article Name

[edit]

Why is this article name is "Prohibition in India". It seems this is a general article on prohibition in India and all we talk is about alcohol prohibition. I think this article need to be renamed Alcohol Prohibition in India or atleast a non-comprehensive article notice should be put. Civilinformer (talk) 12:41, 21 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

You are absolutely right. I am moving the page. Chhandama (talk) 13:13, 6 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

"LEAKER BAN" -("ALCOHOL")

[edit]

It is best action taken by the government of 'bihar' , 'Gujrat' , 'Mizoram' and 'Nagaland' as well as in union territory 'Lakshadweep', expect these all other Indian states and union territory permit the sale of "ALCOHOL". Leaker ban is also a constitution Article 47. ĎÎVŸÃŃŚHŪ ŘÂJPÛŤ (ČHÀÙHÁÑ) (talk) 10:20, 5 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Bihar Source Quality

[edit]

Was wondering if someone else would take a look at the Bihar prohibition effects section, which reads to me as slanted towards prohibition, and see what they think. The section asserts that everything from crime rates to brick house construction has been improved by the law (statements that are all drawn from the same NYT article source), but the origin of those stats isn't reported in the source. I'm curious as to whether they're coming from an advocacy group or are truly impartial facts. Thanks! Tadzweil (talk) 23:01, 28 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
