Genre dispute
[edit]Alien sex fiend are NOT deathrock. They are a mixture between first wave gothic rock such as bauhayus and specimen, and electronica. Can I correct this? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.142.187.80 (talk) 16:29, 15 February 2008 (UTC)
- I am for correcting this, simply because they were pinoeers in the gothic rock scene, which centers around the UK. Deathrock is an american thing. --JimEerie (talk) 16:05, 25 February 2008 (UTC)

Notability
[edit]Are they actually notable? One of many Goth Rock bands at the time. Worthy of a footnote, maybe, but a page and discography? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Beetlehive (talk • contribs) 11:24, 29 March 2010 (UTC)
- WP:Music criteria for notability states: 5. Has released two or more albums on a major label or one of the more important indie labels (i.e., an independent label with a history of more than a few years and a roster of performers, many of which are notable).. ASF have released several albums on Cleopatra, who are notable under this definition. So yes, this criterion for notability is satisfied. --Rodneyorpheus (talk) 15:28, 16 May 2010 (UTC)
- Yes, obviously notable.--Michig (talk) 08:12, 5 June 2010 (UTC)
Our House
[edit]I have a vague recollection that Mr & Mrs Fiend were also featured on an episode of ITV 'homes' programme Our House, showing off their suburban abode. Can anyone confirm?--Michig (talk) 08:21, 5 June 2010 (UTC)
This band did NOT release the worlds first 11-inch single. It could only be the worlds first vinyl single but not the first 11-inch. Look here: [1]. That record is from 1908 way futher back. I am not even sure about the first vinyl eather but that I leave uncharged.Stepojevac (talk) 15:34, 2 May 2014 (UTC)
