I have reverted this change in consesus with Stemonitis as to not give undue weight to the Amphibian Species of the World. See User talk:Stemonitis. --Eleassar my talk 13:21, 9 March 2007 (UTC)
This move is supported by all major taxonomic references: the Amphibian Species of the World (which this project is supposed to follow), AmphibiaWeb, ITIS, and Blackburn & Wake (2011) "Class Amphibia Gray, 1825", Zootaxa 3148. Also IUCN uses Alytidae. Seven years after the discussion above, the move was overdue. Micromesistius (talk) 14:34, 12 April 2014 (UTC)
