Include
[edit]This article should include the foundation and early history. It should also mention its absorption of the defunct PRA (Pittsburgh Racing Association) group of drivers in the mid-70's when Heidelberg Raceway and it's sister tracks folded. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Ched Davis (talk • contribs) 11:50, 20 December 2008 (UTC)
- sorry 'bout that Ched Davis (talk) 11:56, 20 December 2008 (UTC)
- Sounds good - please add it. Even a few sentences off the top of your head is fine. I am not familiar with that part of its history. Let me know if you have any questions. Royalbroil 12:58, 21 December 2008 (UTC)
- Well, that was back when I was in Sr. High, so even if OR were acceptable, it might be suspect. I'll go through some of my old programs and such, the web isn't exactly "full" of that kind of information from the 70's but I'll give it an honest shot. A lot of my old Speed Sport News, Circle Track, etc. mags got ruined in a flood a couple years back - so this may take a little time (especially during the holidays). After the 1st though I'll go through my Kulwicki, Wallace, and Martin stuff to and try to come up with decent work. My primary time frame that I'm familiar with is the Eddy, Senneker, Benson, Wallace, etc. era of the late 70's through mid to late-80's. Maybe add some of the tracks like Berlin, Salem, Winchester, Bristol etc. to it. I'm hoping to dig up the missing 68 - 73 stats, but no promises. You folks have a great holiday ... and I'll be back as soon as I can dig up some verifiable decent stuff. Ched Davis (talk) 20:42, 21 December 2008 (UTC)
- also ... I got some good shots from the 2007 Bristol race if they would help? ... guess I could paste on my google accnt. and you could d/l what you see fit. Ched Davis (talk) 20:45, 21 December 2008 (UTC)
