I wish to contest the 'for speedy deletion' tag that has been added to our page.

As has recently been added to our page, the Ampersand Network is Australia's first youth-run organisation to have two of its Directors named as Finalists in the Young Australian of the Year Awards - Katia Sanderson (2006 and 2007) and Alan Wu (2008). The public nature of this Award in Australia makes this achievement worthy of recognition in a forum such as Wikipedia.

Furthermore, many of our partner organisations, such as Students Partnership Worldwide and Australian Volunteers International have a permanent presence in Wikipedia, which provides context to the important role the Ampersand Network plays.

The Ampersand Network is held up as an example of successful youth activism (see [1]).

I have added a COI tag to the article as it is reasonable to infer from the comment above that the only contributor to this page - User:Katias - is or was a "director" of Ampersand. nancy (talk) 16:35, 19 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Did you have any specific issues with the article? If not, WP:WHYCOI? -- samj inout 18:13, 26 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}} to keep me off the page altogether. I made the following changes:
