Incorrect information & close paraphrasing

[edit]

Reading this article and comparing it with his bio [1] I noticed two things that worry me: close paraphrasing and incorrect information. For example, from his bio:

He is Visiting Professor to both the University of Liverpool and the Universidade Federal de Ceara, Fortaleza, Brazil and in 2010 was elected an overseas member of the Academia Nacional de Medicina, Brazil; he is also an elected overseas member of fifteen national neurological societies.

From our article, bolding shows phrases which are identical to his official bio:

He is a visiting Professor to both the University of Liverpool and Hospital Sao Rafaele, Salvador, Brazil. He is an elected overseas member of fourteen national neurological societies and a Honorary overseas member of the Academia Nacional de Medicina, Brazil.

Not only does the sentence appear a wp:Copyright violation, it also contains three contradictions compared to his original bio. Yoenit (talk) 18:54, 22 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Clean-up

[edit]

I did a major clean up, deleting unreferenced sentences, adding links and missing references. If someone can check I would be grateful as this is only the second page I edit in wikipedia. — Preceding unsigned comment added by LaniChez (talkcontribs) 15:48, 21 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

About the sentences above, because I could not find references about the controversy pointed out (14 or 15 socieites), I have deleted this sentence, and left only the visiting professorships to the universities. Will try to find the references for that later, if not I will delete as well.
