Deputy GCSA

[edit]

According to some comments she is deputy chief scientific advisor. Are there good sources for this? Has the role of deputy csa existed before the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic? Ca3tki (talk) 09:05, 22 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Correct title?

[edit]

I believe her title as given is not formally correct. My reading of Debrett's Correct Form is that she should be first referred to as "Professor Dame Angela Ruth McLean" and subsequently as "Dame Angela." Adding DBE is somewhat redundant with Dame especially in the absence of any other honorifics (eg PhD, BSc etc). 2A00:23C6:9035:BA01:1871:29F0:F868:16E3 (talk) 09:21, 26 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@2A00:23C6:9035:BA01:1871:29F0:F868:16E3 Please ignore the last point as I realise the article indeed includes other honorifics. The perils of editing on a small phone :( 2A00:23C6:9035:BA01:1871:29F0:F868:16E3 (talk) 09:24, 26 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
