Mexicans
Just in case the recent edits including 2% Mexicans in the population of Angola were made in good faith: except (possibly) for diplomatic personnel, and perhaps one catholic missionary or another, no Mexican ever sat his foot on Angolan soil......Aflis (talk) 10:33, 1 August 2016 (UTC)

Hello fellow Wikipedians,

Establishment Year?
Since this is the successor state to the People's Republic of Angola, shouldn't it be considered to have been established in 1992 rather than 1975? Maximajorian Viridio (talk) 01:21, 21 February 2018 (UTC)

Globe Map
Shouldn't the globe map borders for Ethiopia (with Eritrea) and Yemeni internal border be updated? I wanted if someone can do it appropriately?--MirkoS18 (talk) 12:55, 28 June 2020 (UTC)
Revision copyright fix
{{help me}} Not sure were to begin but the additions by DiogoC300 seem mostly copy and pasted from the sources. Angola has been a destination for Portuguese citizens looking for jobs. A bilateral protocol to facilitate the issuance of visas was signed between the two countries in September 2011
- Portugal is one of Angola's main trading partners, a country in which Portuguese companies have a strong presence in the sectors of construction, banking, food and beverage exports. I see 3 more edits of the same nature so perhaps best to just clear edit history to be safe.--Moxy 🍁

- There's no tool to do this task. All content added by the editor needs to be checked against the sources provided as well as against the internet at large. It's not possible for me to do a thorough check as many of the sources are in Portuguese. I found material copied from https://www.worldbank.org/en/country/angola/overview. I also found two instances where the source provided does not support the content added (https://oec.world/en/profile/bilateral-country/ago/partner/prt, https://web.archive.org/web/20080331061408/http://www.angola.org.uk/facts_tourism.htm). I didn't check the whole addition — Diannaa (talk) 00:26, 27 June 2020 (UTC)
- Changed to regular help request to hail editor who can sift through Portugese-language sources. Rotideypoc41352 (talk · contribs) 20:00, 7 July 2020 (UTC)
- @Rotideypoc41352: That's not going to work, either, it's just going to waste more people's time. Perhaps one of the methods listed at Template:Expert needed/doc#When to use? Or perhaps asking one of the people listed for Portuguese under meta:Wikimedia Embassy#P? I'll ping someone who self-nominated themselves earlier this year on that embassy page to see if they'll rise to the challenge: @Kaioduarte-TB: [The first person listed was last active on en-wiki in 2014. Doesn't speak well of inter-wiki diplomacy.] — jmcgnh(talk) (contribs) 03:59, 8 July 2020 (UTC)
- @Kaioduarte-TB: I received two pings, both from elsewhere, so I don't know if you also missed the above ping. Sorry for the re-ping. Rotideypoc41352 (talk · contribs) 15:32, 8 July 2020 (UTC)

Demographics
What happened to the Demographics section, and moreover the Economics and Education sections? Lazarus1255 (talk) 14:51, 25 July 2020 (UTC)
Description of ethnic groups
In describing ethnic groups, it would be useful to show more precision and better references. Groups deemed to be foreign are described as either Portugese or Chinese. I've met several "Portugese" in DRC and came to the conclusion they were born and raised in Angola. Could "of Portugese ancestry" be used instead? Or Portugese Angolans? Similarly, "Chinese", does that include Taiwan, Vietnam, Koreans etc? Francis Hannaway (talk) 07:59, 23 February 2022 (UTC)
