Manchester College/Arden
Can someone please clarify what the score is with the Arden? The sterile, corporate website has no reference to the Arden, or even a drama school... just that the Manchester College has "drama courses".
If the Arden still exists, then it needs to assert its identity. Hardylane (talk) 20:29, 22 December 2009 (UTC)
- There are some references to it scattered around the web site. I don't konow how long it will be valid, but this is a search. A recent (Sept 09) reference in the press is here. Mr Stephen (talk) 22:51, 6 January 2010 (UTC)
- I'm concerned that the Arden used to have a distinct identity which seems to have been flattened underfoot by the corporate behemoth that is "The Manchester College!". People may still refer to it by name, but is this just harkening back to its previous existence, or are the college bosses intent upon getting rid of the name altogether? The Arden name referred to a previous campus in Northenden, which they left some 5 or 6 years ago. Maybe someone should prod the website people or the college itself for a clarification?
