Book about climate change and Salvador Allende's death

As seen in the 11 September 2023 issue of New Yorker.

Is this a new book of his? Or an earlier one?

(Reaction: I was really excited. This is the man who wrote about comics and TV back in the 1970s and 1980s in this Marxist way).

And if indeed this is the Dorfman I "knew"...
