Former Members
[edit]Anyone know why Virtuoso, Bahmadia, Stoupe and Faez left? Are they still on good terms with the rest of the group? I remember hearing Virtuoso talking about the situation on a track, he said he liked AOTP but he just couldn't make music with them. I always thought Stoupe was just an affiliate, not a real member. Didn't know Faez left. On a song off the Torture Papers, it might of been the last song, Vinnie Paz says '..Got rid of dead weight' is this a diss directed towards one of the former members or no? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.157.15.149 (talk • contribs) 22:00, 30 November 2007 (UTC) (undo)
I answered the question myself, I found an interview (added it in the interview section) Vinnie says that Bahmadia is doing her own thing, and the same with Virtuoso, but doesn't talk that much more about it.— Preceding unsigned comment added by Tydamann (talk • contribs) 23:01, 30 November 2007 (UTC)
Yes I know why. Virtuoso had a small feud with Esoteric and left on his own, but later supported Jus Allah after the Babygrande JMT split which caused Paz to outcast both of them, even though Virt & Eso years later made amends.
Bahamadia was a cameo just for that one 12". She was never a permanent member. The story goes that she was already an established artist in the Philly area and when the crew came on her radio show, she agreed to feature on Exertions to help support their rise by having a big name on the single. She then went back to doing her own thing. So that's what Paz means.
Stoupe and 7L both left as producers. I imagine Stoupe only did that single because it was a precursor to the VBD record. 7L I'm not sure why he stopped making beats for AOTP even though his partner Esoteric was a prominent member. And Faez One I'm not sure why he left either, I've actually never heard any reason given.
Also to note is DJ Drew Dollars was kicked out over what he told me on MySpace was "differences" and was replaced by DJ Kwestion, who did the cuts on VBD. If I had to guess I would imagine it was because of his crazy personality as seen on the VBD DVD covering the JMT Visions of Ghandi Tour. Chief Kamachi left himself because he did not like Apathy, who was being reinducted by Paz into the crew. Kamachi then fired off that diss track at Apathy & Paz over the incident, while contradicting himself publicly saying he left as a business decision. Jus Allah was most recently kicked out over his bad attitude and Slaine & C-Lance feuds. Crypt The Warchild has Hodgkin's Lymphoma cancer, and treatment of this illness is the reason for his absence on In Death Reborn.Wufan10304 (talk) 19:33, 4 December 2015 (UTC)
Chief Kamachi
[edit]Anyone else hear about the supposed diss track "First Warning" by Chief Kamachi where he disses AOTP but mainly Apathy. I didn't want to add it to the page because I don't know much about it other than hearing the song on youtube.— Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.217.254.182 (talk • contribs) 17:00, 12 June 2009 (UTC)
Jus Allah kicked out
[edit]Jus Allah didn't appear on In Death Reborn or Heavy Lies The Crown not because he was busy with MMA, but because there was a Slaine/Jus feud that tore a rift between Jus and the other members in Enemy Soil Records. There was also trouble between Jus and secondary in-house producer C-Lance, as they were scheduled in the studio and working together for Jus' then-upcoming album MMA, and C-Lance was producing the entire album. Jus was becoming increasingly difficult and angry. Paz therefore released him off the label and stripped him of the C-Lance beats that were supposed to be all over his MMA album, the reason for its latest delay. Jus was bitter about the exile and went on Twitter blasting Paz & Enemy Soil as well as treating his fans bad. JMT reunited with Stoupe & Paz for an eighth album moving forward once again without Jus Allah. He will not be on any future JMT or AOTP releases or feature on any Enemy Soil records because he was kicked out of the camp over his bad attitude. This time it wasn't creative differences or a misunderstanding; Jus proved to be hateful, difficult to work with and didn't mesh well with AOTP members. He is out of the crew forever.
