Sorry. He is definitely not the most decorated. Any VC recipient would rate higher. Chavasse for example was awarded the double VC. I would think he was the most decorated. Freyberg also won the VC in WW1 plus three DSOs (2 of them in WW1) and was a Brigadier also in WW1. Wallie (talk) 08:58, 5 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
“[T]he youngest ever British Army Brigadier-General” and “becoming the youngest Brigadier-General in the British Army” stated without reference and implausible. Counter example: Roland Boys Bradford nearly two years younger, having been born after Jackson and promoted to Acting Brigadier before him.
Not my field: can someone knowledgeable suggest what the writer may have intended to say? Otherwise these two quotations have to go. Thanks.

In the article it says that Jackson «cut short his fishing holiday in Norway» to compete in the Olympic Games. We are writing a book about British anglers in Norway and are curious about the source of this information. In case he was in Norway we think we know where. abre That was me. Using the Blame tool and querying "fishing", I added it way back in 2008. We were not so hot on referencing in those far off times.
