Needs introduction at a comprehension level which does not require knowledge of a specialised area of physics

[edit]

Currently this reads like a specialised physics text book. That might be ok in the body text, but it requires a great deal of knowledge understand any part of it, and as such is not "encyclopædic". As a completely random and hypothetical example - how would someone who took physics at a good university 31 years ago work out what "safety" means in this context? I suggest that at least the introduction be re-written to be actually introductory.

3 paragraphs OR removed

[edit]

I just did some cleanup and removed three paragraphs containing nothing but OR (original research) that had no single source given. 2A01:C22:AD6D:6600:2149:FD54:3044:C244 (talk) 07:23, 5 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I'll find the sources for you, as you removed entirely factual content.
