Jeremy Corbyn controversy
[edit]This page could do with a bit on the controversy about how UK Labour Party leader Jeremy Corbynis involved in a controversy over claims he laid a wreath at Bseiso's grave. https://www.independent.co.uk/infact/jeremy-corbyn-munich-massacre-terrorists-anti-semitism-labour-palestinian-cemetery-a8489456.html Booklung (talk) 11:03, 14 August 2018 (UTC)
Uri Sagi
[edit]It's worth while trying to figure out or find out, what Uri Sagi was alluding to. My guess is that he was asserting
- Bseiso was connected to the 15 December 1971 attempt on the life of Zaid al-Rifai in London, where he was ambassador there (not in the wiki bio.
- The only account I can find of an attempt on an El Al airline flying from Rome is the operation by the PFLP in April 23 (other sources state 23 July) mentioned by Ami Pedahzur in his The Israeli Secret Services and the Struggle Against Terrorism, Columbia University Press, 2009 978-0-231-51161-2.
- Since he was head of AMAN at the time, one would expect he was fully in the know. One would also expect that press declarations like these just afterwards are to be taken cum grano salis, unless history confirms them.Nishidani (talk) 17:14, 15 August 2018 (UTC)
