Just Australia?
[edit]I think I have read that the ASC is becoming the universally used soil classification system. if this is so the heavy mentioning of Australia (the "part of the Australia project" tag for example) should be revised. --Hypo Mix 07:31, 28 September 2007 (UTC)
- So long as it has "Australian" in its name, I think it should be tagged into the Australia project. But if you can find references suggesting that it has been or is being universally adopted, then please put them in and tone down the Oz talk. Hesperian 11:54, 28 September 2007 (UTC)
- Not actually the case, its a region-suitable system that has limitations in other environments. Most countries lacking their own system use the US one. You may be thinking of the World Reference Base? --Leobrien (talk) 06:31, 21 July 2008 (UTC)
